Hoje, 9 de agosto, Gillian completou 38 anos. Novo amor, grávida, ao lado da Piper, cercada do reconhecimento da mídia e público dos trabalhos que ela tem feito no cinema e também, colhendo os frutos do sucesso de Bleak House (BBC).

Simplesmente demais. Nesse ano o presente de aniver dos fãs pra atriz era colaborar com uma escola africana que ela freqüentou algumas vezes junto ou não, do Julian Ozanne (ex-marido). Então nosso presente era ajudar com dinheiro para material das crianças mas principalmente, levar energia elétrica! Resultado a Alinyiikira Junior School conseguiu.

Gillian foi ao site oficial para agradecer aos fãs o montante: algo em torno de $8,523. Ou seja, aproximadamente pouco mais de 18 mil reais!

They've also been able to purchase two computers, two UPs, and one printer.

And now, donations made in honor of Gillian's 38th birthday (August 9) will provide the school with the funds needed to build a much needed new four-room classroom block!
